Open Call for Holiday Market 2026: Seeking Vendors + Pop-up Hosts!

Welcome to Chinatown is bringing the neighborhood together for a festive Holiday Market at our Small Business Innovation Hub at 115 Bowery Street. From Friday, Nov 20th to Thursday, Dec 24th** we’re opening our doors to visitors who want to shop local and celebrate the season with makers, creators, food vendors, and the community. 

We’re looking for vendors and pop-up hosts to join us for this five-week curated shopping experience! 

**This market will run like a retail/department store. Merchandising, inventory and sales will be consolidated and managed by WtC. You will not need to be present during all operating hours but participating vendors are required to work a few weekend shifts.

About the 2026 Holiday Market

Welcome to Chinatown's Holiday Market is an open event where visitors can shop for one-of-a-kind gifts, while enjoying seasonal treats and supporting local entrepreneurs. Expect a carefully curated mix of creators, makers, food and drink brands, all with plenty of holiday cheer. Our Holiday Market offers a real-world setting to introduce your brand, connect with customers, and grow your following, all of which reflect Welcome to Chinatown's core mission of supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Who should apply for the market?

We're calling all entrepreneurs who celebrate AAPI heritage and the Chinatown community through their products, including:

  • Makers and artists with giftable goods, from ceramics and prints to jewelry and home goods

  • Food and beverage vendors with packaged snacks, baked goods, or seasonal treats

  • Emerging brands looking to test retail appeal ahead of the new year

  • Small business owners looking to experiment and expand

  • Past program participants who want to apply what they’ve learned with us

What you get:

  • Dedicated space for your products during select windows of time during the Holiday Market run at The Hub

  • Table, chairs, and display furniture

  • Promotion through Welcome to Chinatown's platforms

  • Support from Welcome to Chinatown’s team before, during, and after the market

  • Access to holiday shopping foot traffic and a supportive network of fellow entrepreneurs, community members, and business experts

Want to host a weekend pop-up during our market hours? 

Our 2026 Holiday Market will also select 5 businesses to host weekend-long pop-ups between Friday, November 20th to Thursday, December 24th. If you’re a business owner interested in engaging with a festive customer base and build awareness for your brand without additional costs, complete the pop-up application below! Note: Pop-up hosts must be available all weekend.

Welcome to Chinatown節慶市集是一場開放式活動,訪客可在此選購獨一無二的禮品,同時享用應景美食,並支持在地創業者。市集匯聚精心策劃的創作者、手作職人,以及美食飲品品牌組合,洋溢滿滿的節慶氛圍。我們的節慶市集提供一個真實的實體場域,讓您推廣品牌、與顧客建立連結,並拓展您的追隨者群,這一切都呼應了Welcome to Chinatown支持小型企業與創業者的核心使命。

Welcome to Chinatown is a grassroots initiative to support Chinatown businesses following the rapid decline in business as a result of COVID-19 and increased xenophobia. Welcome to Chinatown serves as a free voice to generate much needed momentum for one of New York City's most vibrant neighborhoods, and offers resources to launch a new revenue stream during this unprecedented time.
