  • Born out of childhood nostalgia, an obsession with cultural identity and a love language rooted in food, Anyoung Super is devoted to championing the representation and evolution of Asian American cuisine and culture. Each of our neighborhood superettes in Seattle stock a rotating selection of specialty foods and lifestyle goods carefully curated to highlight Asian and AANHPI brands and designers.

Our Name: In Korean culture, where honorifics are taken very seriously, “anyoung” is the most informal way to say “hi.” In this way “anyoung” is immediately welcoming, giving a sense of closeness, familiarity and warmth. As this is how we hope to receive our customers and how we hope our space will make them feel, “anyoung" felt like a fitting name for our shop.
