Piloting our Coach Program with Corina Beauty Center

Meet Corina of Corina’s Beauty Center, located at 121 Baxter in Chinatown!

Corina’s Beauty Center is your one stop shop for you to look and feel like your best self. From facial treatments to permanent makeup, Corina has you covered. In March, Corina’s son had approached us for assistance after noting the salon’s decline in business. With the design guidance and assistance of Kepler Mission Design Group, Welcome to Chinatown is working with Corina to revitalize their store branding and create a website to highlight their services provided.

This is an example of our “Coach” programming from our new Connect, Coach, Invest & Innovate model that we are launching with our Innovation Hub. Earlier this year, we worked closely with HR&A to build our Hub programming in a way that best serves our community. This pilot version of programming is the first step in turning our vision for small business support into reality. In this pilot of the “Coach” model programming, we are working closely with businesses, like Corina’s Beauty Center, and providing them with training and hands-on support.

We’re continuing to work with Corina to build upon the brand work – including updated web, printed materials and photography. Follow along with our work with Corina and other businesses as we soft-launch our Hub programming!
