Columbus Park is a central piece of Emily's Welcome to Chinatown collection. As an intergenerational meeting space, the park is an essential part of Chinatown – community members come together to play traditional games and instruments and recently, organize for change. We're seeing old traditions upheld in new places.

Emily's images are block printed from carved blocks. She referenced old pictures of gatherings in Columbus Park to craft a design (spot the umbrellas and chess boards) that celebrates being Asian in America.
