Design Hackathon 2025

Welcome to Chinatown is excited to host our very first hackathon to harness the creativity and problem solving skills to support small businesses through sustainable solutions for brand voice, marketing, and social media.

Each team will be invited to hack in person at the Welcome to Chinatown Hub from Sept 4-5 in-person. Food, drink, and expert guidance will be provided! Teams will be determined by the Welcome to Chinatown team and the team will assign you a specific case/task that is directly connected with a Manhattan Chinatown based small business.

Task: Create a solution to help create a cohesive brand voice and generate organic/authentic content with the goal of higher engagement + building past promotions -> growing towards brand voice/lifestyle/awareness.
