Free Walk-In Identification Cards

All children are welcome to receive a free identification card on a walk-in basis. A parent or legal guardian must be present to provide consent. Using a specialized machine, NYL will capture all necessary information, scan fingerprints, take a photo, and print the ID card on-site.

Each ID includes:

• the child’s photo

• fingerprint

• date of birth

• height and weight

• eye and hair color

• parent’s contact information.

None of the data is stored during this process. The machine we use is dedicated solely to processing and printing child ID's. It runs only this program and does not have access to any other applications, storage devices, cloud services, or databases.

Once an ID is printed and we move on to the next child, all of the previous child’s information is automatically deleted from the system. This ensures that no data is retained at any point in the process.

Services will be available in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend registering! Priority will be given to those with an RSVP confirmation.
