Meet Christina:
Christina grew up in her family’s restaurant, where food was the primary love language, the way her family expressed care and stayed connected.
Her career in finance took her to Singapore, but the absence of the familiar flavors she grew up with hit differently. She realized that if she didn’t preserve her family’s recipes and the regional dishes that rarely exist outside a home kitchen, they would age alongside her elders and eventually fade away. Chenzi was born from a deep desire to protect and preserve those flavors, to share the dishes that shaped her life and carry generations of warmth, comfort, and meaning.
About Chenzi:
At Chenzi, they celebrate curiosity, legacy, and comfort by spotlighting regional dishes, starting with their signature Fuzhounese potato balls — the chewier, gluten-free cousin in the dumpling family.
Their mission is to share underrepresented dishes that feel like home while keeping culture alive around the table.
Test Thursdays are discounted co-working days at The Hub! Book a desk (9am-5pm) with code: “HUB- TTCHENZI”.
