Event Poster: Artist Alley Opening for January 30th 2026, hosted at 115 Bowery
Running Horse, Flowing Time is a paper-cutting exhibition that explores the rhythm of time and life’s cycles through the image of the running horse, inspired by the concept of 走馬燈 (Running Horse Lantern).
The exhibition is created by Tzu Ching Chen-Jessy, a Taiwan-born visual creator based in Queens, New York. Drawing from family, heritage, and East Asian visual traditions, her work reflects on cultural memory and how traditions continue through transformation.
Join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, Jan 30, 2026, featuring a Yangqin performance by Vanessa Xinying Wu at 6:30 PM, along with Asian-inspired small bites by Yellow Pear Coffee, available for purchase throughout the evening.
