We are so excited to launch our newest fundraising campaign with Bao Tea House!

Help us race to reach the following goals over the next three days:

+ 8k views for this Dragon Boat Festival NFT created by the team at Bao Tea House

+ Raise $8k towards our Sik Faan/Let's Eat Fund

= To qualify for a $8k matching gift from Michael Yeung!

With this $16,000 donation we will be able to distribute 1,600 fresh and nutritious meals via our Sik Faan Fund. Donate here.

Michael Yeung is a NYC native and parents are from Hong Kong & Taiwan. Growing up, Michael would be in Chinatown most Sunday’s with his family attending church and getting their week’s worth of groceries, meat, fish, and herbs. Throughout middle school and high school he also attended different tutoring academies in Chinatown or would get delicious meals with friends.

Please help keep Chinatown flourishing so that it can continue to be a pillar of the Asian American, and really American community, for generations to come!

Sik Faan/ Let's Eat Fund: “Sik fa-an” 食飯 means “let’s eat!” in Cantonese. The Sik Faan Fund focuses on providing fresh produce, nutritious meals, as well as essential goods through Manhattan Chinatown’s small business, restaurant, grocery, market, and tea purveyor partners. Gifts to this fund will help Welcome to Chinatown purchase familiar food and items from local Chinatown businesses to distribute to low income, senior residents, food insecure neighbors, and essential workers.
